Olympic Truce

It's really fun to draw a poster though I seldom do this. I think it's beautiful. The balls, the symbol of pease, the earth, the words, and the flag of the UK, they're all fantastic. I really love it.

                        Do you?

Taiwanese Aborigines

There are fourteen aborigines in Taiwan, including Amis, Atayal, Sediq, Thao, Paiwan, Rukai, Yami and more. Before Chinese came, they have already lived in Taiwan for ages.
They have their special festivals, like the Harvest Festival. They show their thanks and appreciations to the gods and pray for harvest in the next coming year. During the festival, they sing, dance and have a feast. They’re good at singing and sports.  Many singers and baseball players in Taiwan are aboriginals.  No matter where one is from, everyone is equal because we are all Taiwanese people.

Taiwanes Table Manners

There are many taboos on the table. For example: don’t take the last pieces from the serving tray, don’t start eating as soon as the food gets on the table, and eat as much as you can. But I think some of them are really ridiculous, like don’t take the last pieces from the serving tray. If you are really hungry, why can’t you just eat what should be eaten? To tell the truth, I think lots of Taiwanese taboos  are nonsense. Fewer people care much about these. So we should change these traditional manners and make ourselves fit the new life style.

My Summer Vacation

In this summer vacation,  I didn't do many things.  I didn't go anywhere,  I sleep until 12 o'clock every day.  But the only thing I did,  was playing tennis.  It was fun and easy,  but it needs a lot of energy,  or you will feel tired very quickly.  The ball runs very fast,  sometimes I can't even hit it.  I really enjoyed my time with tennis this summer.
This is my tennis racket.

A Trip To Wetland

We went to a wetland next to the lotus pond on April 6th. The wetland was very enviroment friendly.  It can reduce the pollution in Kaohsiung. It gave us a place to exercise and rest.  And it also gave those animals a place to live.  As you can see,  Kaohsiung government wasn't doing nothing.  They were working hard on the enviroment issue.  What can we do for the enviroment?  For example,  pick up the garbages you see on the floor.  Turn off the light when you're leaving.  If we keep working hard going,  this city will be green someday.  But taking action is better than words.  When will we do this?  Now!!!!!!!

A Nightmare

Then I saw my baby on the floor.  I held her and thought it was okay now.  Just a second,  a ghost suddenly appeared.  I started to scream and ran upstairs.  But when I looked back,  there was nothing.  So I turned around .  The ghost was right in front of me by 1 centimeters. It took my baby and went down under the ground.  I ran out of my house with tears.  Then I thought I have to save my baby,  so I went back again.  The first thing I saw in my house was the ghost.  Then I ran to my room,  locked the door and hid under my bed.  Then the ghost came in through the door.  I didn't think that it could do that.  I took an umbrella and tried to protect myself.  It wasn't afraid of my attack.  When I was thinking of another plan,  the ghost tried to pull me down.  I tried to hold everything that could be held,  but I couldn't.  Then I shouted"No!!!"  Then I woke  up.  I'm glad it was only a dream.

My Best Friend

My best friend is Xu-Bang Wang.  His English name is David.  The first time I saw him was in the school winter camp, but I didn’t know him at the time.  Actually I met in grade five.  We were in the same class.  He looks like a small bear, because he is strong, porky and tall, but he is shy, just like me.  But I look like a stick.  I like him because we have the same hobbies:  He likes to play basketball, and so do I.  He’s easy to laugh loud.  I sometimes get crazy if he laughs.  We will be best friends forever!
