There are fourteen aborigines in Taiwan , including Amis, Atayal, Sediq, Thao, Paiwan, Rukai, Yami and more. Before Chinese came, they have already lived in Taiwan for ages.
They have their special festivals, like the Harvest Festival. They show their thanks and appreciations to the gods and pray for harvest in the next coming year. During the festival, they sing, dance and have a feast. They’re good at singing and sports. Many singers and baseball players in Taiwan are aboriginals. No matter where one is from, everyone is equal because we are all Taiwanese people.
